Calf Press On The Leg Press Machine

If you’re tracking lower leg improvements in the FitnessTracker app, the Calf Press on the Leg Press Machine is a solid option. It provides a stable base and adjustable load to isolate and challenge the calves without requiring balance or upper body support.

Instructions

  1. Sit in a leg press machine and place your feet shoulder-width apart on the platform.
  2. Press the platform to extend your legs without locking your knees, then shift your feet so only the balls of your feet remain on the platform.
  3. Push through your toes to raise your heels, flexing your calves at the top.
  4. Slowly lower your heels until you feel a full stretch in your calves.
  5. Repeat for the target number of repetitions.
