The Crucifix is a time-based endurance challenge for the shoulders, often performed in strongman competitions. The exercise involves holding weighted objects with arms extended sideways to test both strength and mental grit.
Instructions
- Stand upright holding a weight in each hand — dumbbells, axes, or similar implements.
- Raise your arms straight out to the sides until they’re parallel to the ground.
- Maintain a strong posture, keeping your arms level and wrists stable.
- Hold this position for as long as possible, ideally aiming for 30–60 seconds.
- Lower the weights with control once failure is reached.
