Dumbbell Flyes

Isolate your chest with this classic fly movement.

Dumbbell flyes are an effective addition to your FitnessTracker chest workouts. They emphasize muscle stretch and contraction, helping to build definition and control.

Instructions

  1. Lie flat on a bench holding a dumbbell in each hand above your chest, palms facing each other.
  2. With a slight bend in your elbows, lower your arms out to the sides in a wide arc.
  3. Continue lowering until you feel a stretch in your chest.
  4. Reverse the motion by squeezing your chest to bring the weights back together.
  5. Pause at the top, then repeat for the desired reps.
