Dumbbell Lying Supination

Build forearm rotation strength with isolated dumbbell control.

This movement strengthens the muscles involved in turning your palm upward (supination), helping to balance forearm development.

Instructions

  1. Lie on your side on a bench holding a dumbbell with one hand.
  2. Bend your elbow to 90 degrees and rest your head on your opposite arm.
  3. Rotate your forearm so the palm turns upward, lifting the dumbbell.
  4. Pause briefly, then return to the start. Complete all reps, then switch arms.
