Dumbbell Squat

Strengthen your legs using this foundational dumbbell movement.

Dumbbell squats are a foundational strength exercise that builds total lower body power. They're easy to scale and great for improving mobility, strength, and posture.

Instructions

  1. Hold a dumbbell in each hand with arms at your sides.
  2. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, chest up and core braced.
  3. Lower into a squat until your thighs are at least parallel to the floor.
  4. Drive through your heels to return to standing.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of reps.
