Dumbbell squats are a foundational strength exercise that builds total lower body power. They're easy to scale and great for improving mobility, strength, and posture.
Instructions
- Hold a dumbbell in each hand with arms at your sides.
- Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, chest up and core braced.
- Lower into a squat until your thighs are at least parallel to the floor.
- Drive through your heels to return to standing.
- Repeat for the desired number of reps.
