Face Pull

Improve posture and shoulder strength with this pulling exercise.

Face Pulls are a go-to for correcting shoulder imbalances and reinforcing healthy mechanics—especially if you bench or sit often.

Instructions

  1. Attach a rope or dual handles to a high pulley.
  2. Grab the handles with both hands and step back slightly.
  3. Pull the handles toward your face, leading with your elbows and keeping them parallel to the floor.
  4. Pause and squeeze your shoulder blades together.
  5. Return with control and repeat.
