Farmer's Walk

Build total-body strength with this loaded carry.

Farmer’s Walks develop raw strength and coordination. They improve grip, posture, and core endurance—and they're surprisingly taxing.

Instructions

  1. Stand between a pair of heavy dumbbells, trap bars, or farmer’s handles.
  2. Grab the handles and lift by driving through your heels, keeping your back straight.
  3. Begin walking with short, controlled steps, maintaining an upright posture.
  4. Cover the desired distance, then lower the implements safely.
