Power Stairs are a demanding strongman event where athletes move heavy weights up a staircase using full-body strength. It’s a test of grip, hips, and sheer willpower. While not a common gym lift, FitnessTracker recommends training with similar tools like tires or weighted boxes to build leg drive and explosive coordination.

Instructions

  1. Set a heavy object (like a tire or block) in front of a stair or platform.
  2. Grab the implement with both hands and keep your chest up.
  3. Lift with your legs and hips, then use momentum to swing the object up onto the first stair.
  4. Step up and repeat the process for multiple stairs or reps.
  5. Use progressive loading to challenge yourself as strength improves.
