Use this assisted stretch to increase shoulder flexibility and control through active resistance and passive release.
Instructions
- Sit upright with arms extended out to your sides and palms facing down.
- Have a partner gently hold your wrists and prevent movement as you attempt to bring your arms forward for 10–20 seconds.
- Then relax and allow them to stretch your arms slightly behind your body.
- Hold the stretch for 10–20 seconds before releasing.
