Seated Front Deltoid

A simple movement to strengthen your shoulders with no equipment.

Use this assisted stretch to increase shoulder flexibility and control through active resistance and passive release.

Instructions

  1. Sit upright with arms extended out to your sides and palms facing down.
  2. Have a partner gently hold your wrists and prevent movement as you attempt to bring your arms forward for 10–20 seconds.
  3. Then relax and allow them to stretch your arms slightly behind your body.
  4. Hold the stretch for 10–20 seconds before releasing.
