Speed squats emphasize quick, precise movement with clean form and light to moderate weight.

Instructions

  1. Set the bar at shoulder height in a squat rack and load a manageable weight.
  2. Step under the bar, position it across your upper back, and unrack it.
  3. Take a shoulder-width stance with toes slightly turned out.
  4. Lower into a squat with control, keeping your chest up and heels grounded.
  5. Drive up explosively without bouncing or losing form.
  6. Repeat each repetition quickly but with perfect technique.
