Tire Flip

Develop full-body power with this classic strongman movement.

A staple in strongman and athletic training, tire flips build explosive power and full-body coordination. This dynamic move pushes strength and cardio simultaneously.

Instructions

  1. Stand close to the tire and grip underneath the tread.
  2. Drive through your legs and hips to lift the tire upward.
  3. As it reaches a 45° angle, step forward and use one knee to push into the tire.
  4. Transition your grip to the top of the tire and push forcefully to flip it over.
  5. Reset and repeat for the desired number of reps.
